Ginger, Sage & Dandelion Immune Boosting Tea

Here we are on day whatever during lockdown in Costa Rica and I can't think of a better place to be.  We created a vortex of health with our neighbors and are enjoying delicious immune boosting teas and soups. If you just take a look you'll find the most amazing things growing all around you. Things I thought were weeds are actually some of the most powerful, amazing antioxidant & alkalizing herbs you could imagine. I have always loved Ginger Tea. Aside from the taste, I know it's beneficial for my immune system with anti-inflammatory properties. We took that and added Sage & Dandelion. Why... because we know of their awesome powers and we found some, so why not! The end result was off the chain super powered amazing deliciousness!

INGREDIENTS

4 Cups Water

Fresh Ginger ( 1-2 inches peeled & sliced)

Fresh Sage (3 or 4 sticks of sage with the leaves)

Fresh Dandelion Leaves ( 4-8 leaves )

*We went by intuition

INSTRUCTIONS

Stove Top:

Combine all ingredients in a pot, bring to a boil and let simmer for 20 minutes.

I like to leave the lid on for at least another 20 minutes to keep steeping ( I like it strong)

Instant Pot:

Combine all ingredients & set on manual for 5 minutes.

After the timer goes off let it sit for another 5-15 minutes ( I like it strong)

*add Honey and/or Almond Milk per cup to taste ( optional )
